KEVIN J BURROUGHS
When asked in 6th grade what he wanted to do when he grew up Kevin simply replied, "I know I don't want to wear a suit and tie to work everyday."
He wasn't sure where his passions would fall then but soon he discovered film when his best friend received a video camera for his birthday. Together they made silly videos about nothing and even made their own spoofed commercials.
His interest never waned and later in life he found himself in film school at the University of Central Florida and Valencia College. During this time he found his passion for the image and the ways it could deliver emotive responses to the audience.
His career began in the lighting department on films such as 2 Fast 2 Furious, Monster, and Dunsmore. He quickly moved into gaffing working on Missionary, Just Another Day and hundreds of national commercials for Craftsman, Home Depot, Adidas, Disney, and more.
In 2013 he shifted behind the lens working as an Operator, MoVi Operator, and Cinematographer for various films as well as many commercials.
